One advantage of working from home is time management. Well… granted, it may be a disadvantage as much as it is an advantage but in my case, since the little one is slowly being independent, I can make use of more time for other things.
Other things include the opportunity to explore more jobs from home and one such job I’m interested in is being a document scanner. When most companies now want to be digitized or automated, most of them outsource the task of scanning their documents. As long as I have an efficient scanner software, I’m pretty sure I can do this job easily from home.
The holidays are almost over but I’m thinking what’s next? I’m sure there’s something that I should save up for from my earnings, right?
Then I remember, there’s something coming up in February! Yep, I’m excited for Valentine’s this year because the little one will be more appreciative of the “custom” since she will probably understand what it’s for now.
I know most people seem to think that Valentine’s is over-commercialized and I’m not one to splurge (or be splurged on) with flowers, chocolates and stuffed bears. We’ve been celebrating Valentines by just being together, dining out and thanking each other for the past year.
But this year, I’d like to make it a bit formal, with the little one coming up with her own short Thanksgiving. Let’s see how it goes, but for sure, I’ll save up for something to give her too to remember the day by.
