Intermission from Work

Working from home has its perks. I get to work while my little girl does her “kid stuff”. I am very thankful that she’s independent. She knows when I need to get some work done so she leaves me alone to finish but at times, she also knows when I’m working too hard.

My little girl is turning out to be the little diva. When she feels I’m stressed out from doing my tasks, she comes up to me and sings all the songs she knows. She’d even have this moments that she’ll create her own songs from thin air.

This has been happening quite frequently lately and I’m thinking of taking her to a studio to possibly record her songs. Just in case this stage of hers won’t last long, I’d love to be able to preserve it as much as I can. And even though I know I can record her songs in my phone, being in a music studio has its perks having all the necessary equipments and microphone accessories to make sure her voice is captured perfectly.

Who knows, maybe she’ll be a singer in the future.  All I know is that this little on of mine was a Singing Diva even before she knew it herself.

Perfect Gift for my Nephew

Being the only “boy” child in our family, giving gifts to my nephew has been very… uninteresting. We usually give him clothes and shoes because he doesn’t have anyone older to get hand-me-downs from.

This year, I’d like to give him something he can enjoy even if by himself. I’m looking at buying him a duncan yo yo for his 9th birthday. I have seen him with a yoyo before but his 2 younger siblings took it away from him. You know how toddlers are with toys that roll or those that you can pull along.

I want something that he can own… and I’m definitely telling his siblings (since they are old enough) not to get it from him.
