Now that I’m spending more time using the internet, I’ve managed to find new information that could have helped me a couple of years back. One such thing is that we could have hired a specialist, a Bankruptcy Lawyer, when my husband had to close operations due to Chapter 13.
During that time, I tried to research as much as I could about Bankruptcy and found a lot of information about Cary Bankruptcy. I knew my husband needed a lawyer the help him out but I didn’t know if we had such specialists here like the those in the US. I learned a lot from just surfing, and not just about bankruptcy but also about other services that Bankruptcy lawyers have to offer. If I knew then that they could help out with harassment from bills collectors, or stopping bad credit, I would have referred a lot of friends from my work place to lawyers years ago.
Anyway, I’m still thankful that we went through that and survived it. It was a wake up call for me to try and do something even from home. That’s when I decided to find some jobs that could help us while my husband tried to find work. It was indeed tough but we came out stronger. We learned a lot of lessons from that, both from what happened and about ourselves.

I agree that it is absolutely imperative to consult with an attorney when contemplating bankruptcy. No one should go it alone and possibly make mistakes that could jeopardize the outcome of the case.
