I am not fond of electricity bills

For some reason, the bill I hate receiving the most is the electricity bill from Meralco. For some reason, I find that the charges are absurb and unreasonably high. Last month, our bill amounted to roughly P6,000 (about $143), and this is awfully high considering that our household only consists of 2 adults and 1 toddler. We don’t own a lot of appliances also. Just a fridge, aircon, TV, and laptop. We use a regular gas stove, not the electric one. We also don’t useheated blanket as it’s not cold here where we live. Well actually, our consumption charges were only one-third of the total bill, and the rest were for generation charge and taxes. Sucks, doesn’t it?

St James the Great Church

I love the St James the Great Church in Ayala Alabang. In fact, when I was a teenager, I dreamed of walking down the aisle in that very Church. I just love the quaint old world feel, with the glass mosaic tiles and beautifully crafted sculptures. It looks like the very old (ancient in my opinion) Churches in some provinces of the Philippines that were built way back in the Spanish era. It has this very solemn air. I don’t know if I will get the chance to get married in that Church, but I am still hoping I will.
